Pre-Season Opening Our pools are drained, acid washed and, if needed, painted or marble dusted. Seasonal Maintenance Our pools are routinely inspected by our field supervisors to assure a continued supply of all maintenance equipment such as chemicals and first aid supplies.   Closing & Winterizing Our facilities are attended to, at a timely fashion, at the end of the season to insure no problems can occur during a winter freeze. The pool water is lowered to below the skimmer, water lines are blown out of all remaining water and then filled with a non-toxic anti-freeze. The water is chemically balanced and covers, where appropriate, are installed. All furniture is stored along with remaining supplies and assure that the property is secure for the winter weather.

Service & Repair

The Pool Therapist is dedicated to providing the most efficient and cost effective way of servicing or repairing your facility. Our service technicians can diagnose and repair any problem that might occur prior to the pool season. Lifeguards American Red Cross certified instructors both within our own company and at other facilities trains all the Pool Therapist lifeguards. Lifeguard instructional courses include Basic Lifesaving techniques, CPR, and First Aid. For the older, more experienced guards, Automatic External Defibrillation and Oxygen Admission. In addition, The Pool Therapist conducts its own training once students complete and pass the American Red Cross course. This will include but not limited to water chemistry, pool operations, cleaning procedures and guarding techniques. Our In-Hours Risk Management Program trains lifeguards to prepare in a more in-depth way to respond to emergency situations by reviewing lifeguarding skills and The Emergency Action PLan through simulated emergencies.

The Pool Therapist has a field supervisory staff, which is second to none in the industry. As a team average, these professionals have more than 10 years of pool related work experience.
