Our History The Pool Therapist has managed commercial swimming facilities throughout Staten Island and New Jersey for nearly 20 years. In 1987, the company was founded by Arnold Stuart Roaker with the concept that The Pool Therapist would provide a complete package of quality management and maintenance services for communities and corporations that have commercial swimming facilities. Those services included pool staffing, chemical supply, liability insurance and mechanical and physical maintenance in both summer and winter. Today, The Pool Therapist operates with a staff of over 250 including owner Arnold Stuart Roaker. These include managers, lifeguards, gate guards and maintenance, as well as a fully staffed office. Our office is opened 7 days per week during the summer season and weekdays during the winter months. In the event of an emergency, we can be reached 24 hours a day. The primary reason clients stay with The Pool Therapist year after year is the extent of the staff commitment and involvement in the detail operations of the company. The Pool Therapist strives for complete customer satisfaction by ensuring that each facility emphasizes safety, cleanliness and diplomacy. The company's high annual client retention rate reflects the level of service delivered and the quality of the commitment to each and every commercial swimming facility.       Our Commitment In the summer, The Pool Therapist's office is open seven days a week from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM to give our clients uninterrupted service and immediate response. This provides clients with unparalleled peace of mind. A radio dispatched service fleet is always on the road, ensuring immediate response to mechanical breakdowns. Our company trucks are easily recognized for security concerns. A computerized Time Keeper System monitors daily opening and closing times, at each facility. We are able to track each employee to ensure your facility will open on schedule.
